Lexi is dedicated to helping others find health and balance using the practices of yoga. She has a lifelong passion for learning about the body in motion and has been a student of yoga for 25 years.

As a yoga teacher, Lexi loves to teach Gentle and Mindful Yoga, as well as guided meditation and yoga nidra. As a certified yoga therapist, Lexi works 1-on-1 with clients at Sanctuary to design a plan for their specific health needs.

In yoga therapy sessions, Lexi has helped many people find their way back to strength, balance and pain-free movement. She has worked with people with chronic neck, shoulder, hip & back pain, as well as post-surgery recovery and rehab. Lexi has successfully worked with clients with autoimmune diseases, and has helped guide clients with anxiety and depression back to balance. She is a skillful coach on practices such as meditation, mantra, breathwork (pranayama), and establishing self-care routines.

Lexi's first training in yoga took place in India where she was a Fulbright Scholar and lived in a traditional Gurukula in Southern India from 2002-2006. During this time, Lexi was steeped in traditional training including asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, kirtan and philosophy.

As a C-IAYT 875hr, Lexi is certified at the highest level as a professional yoga therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is also a Certified 200hr Yoga Teacher and has completed advance training with a special focus on therapeutic yoga practices through Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy.

She loves to share the wisdom of yoga with everyone she meets!
