Featured Class: Form & Flow

Form & Flow is an alignment-based Hatha practice with heart-centered themes. The practice is an integration of Anusara-inspired alignment principles with Tantric philosophy drawn primarily from Rajanaka Yoga (Douglas Brooks). Just as we are asked to engage more deeply with our body’s wisdom on the mat, Form & Flow also calls us to engage more deeply with our lives and our collective community.

Level I - includes basic poses and supportive cues. Slower-paced movement builds alignment, breath, and flow. Beginners always welcome.

Level I/II - is a beginner-intermediate class with clear cues and a moderate flow. Supports alignment, form, and expression.

Level II - is an intermediate-advanced class with stronger postures. Increases flexibility, strength, and stamina.

This class is led by various teachers throughout the week, in-studio and online.

Form & Flow with Sebastian

Sebastian leads Form & Flow Level 1/2 on Tuesday mornings (online only), Tuesday evenings, and Friday mornings.

How would you describe your approach to Form & Flow?

My Form & Flow classes are alignment-focused, rooted in yoga philosophy, social justice-oriented, and trauma-informed. I design the classes to be vigorous, yet made accessible with a variety of options within poses. Expect to engage in dynamic movement with integrated deep, long holds. We work on building core power, stretching and strengthening the body, as well as creating space for deep healing and release. I often integrate pranayama (breath work) and meditation into the asana practice as well.

What is your favorite thing about teaching Form & Flow?

I really appreciate the sense of community and connection that we develop through this time moving and breathing together.

What do you hope students will achieve in class?

I hope students will cultivate a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy and a stronger sense of personal empowerment.
