In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll explore foundational yoga postures with demonstrations, prop use, in-depth cueing, and individual assists and modifications. We’ll also explore breathwork and meditation techniques as they relate to basic yoga philosophies, like non-judgment and self-awareness. Next will be a culmination of the poses and breath in a 75-minute yoga flow, designed like a typical drop-in yoga class.
This workshop is designed for the first-time yoga student as well as anyone who wants to strengthen the building blocks of their yoga practice. Come explore strength, stretching, deep breath, relaxation, and connection through the lens of yoga asana.
